Conference Centre 36

When selecting a conference centre for your organisation, venue selection can impact on your brand. What is the message and the emotion you want the audience left with? A clinical office environs maybe enough for a lot of conferences but if you are trying to instill something great into the event then the conference venue will have a big impact.

What is the impression on the audience as well as your brand name. If you are trying to convey importance, change, growth etc then consider how your conference centre reflects this. What about Panache? Don’t hold a conference about quality at a cheap venue. Then use a conference centre that reflects this sentiment.

From the moment the attendees walk in, what do you want to be their first feeling? Style, growth, partnership? It will set the platform for the conference. The conference environs can affect the work at a conference Do you need an outdoors area? How are you balancing these? Even the sounds within a conference centre will have a subtle influence on the audience. Tiles sound very different underfoot to carpet.

Emotions are brought to the surface by smells & things we hear. We associate them with our own experiences. Even when the audience are parking their cars what do they see hear & smell? Does it inspire creativity? How is the food at your centre? Is it sensational? Is minimalism something you need to convey? Does the centre reflect these things?
